How-to: Blogging to your YACS CMS using posterous.com
posterous.com allows you to post to multiple blogs. You can also post to YACS with a simple modification to services/describe.php
How to send your blog posts toy YACS CMS ( http://yacs.fr ) from posterous.com:
1) Find a section you want to be able to post to. You can only choose one section.
2) Note its number. You can find out the number easily, as it will be: http:// yourwebsite.com/sections/view.php/###/blahblahblah
The # - that is the number you want.
3) Edit http://yourwebsite.com/services/describe.php and change the BlogID in the line for MetaWeblog to that # number.
Example: If your section was 107 (http:// yoursite.com/sections/view.php/107) Instead of blogID="" it'll say "blogID="107"
4) Now you can set up your YACS website to work with posterous.com!
(NOTE: As of Oct 19 2008, the section in http://posterous.com to setup an autopost to a YACS section is under "Other Blogs" when you add a service, and you only have to use the main site URL for the "Blog URL" - I used http://free.naplesplus.us and it worked great!)

( If this works, the resulting page also should show up on http://free.naplesplus.us/sections/view.php/107 which is a YACS website which will be proof that this works)
