unpublished article behavior
It seems to me that users really have several kinds of behavior that they might want from unpublished articles. Perhaps I'm just unclear on the concept.
Unpublished articles, currently have one behavoir:
Option 1: They are located in a section, and not hidden to registered members. Not aggregated on recent posting pages.
Option 2: It seems to me that on some sites, unpublished articles might make sense to have only visible, by default, to the author/editor(s)
Option 3: Aggregated with all recent postings visible only to members. (a seperate option for associates)
So, all i'm realy suggesting is that the visibility be granular based on role, and a page of recent postings be created with the same granular visibility.
If this is currently available, I apologize, but I didn't see it. One of the big problems on my site right now seems to be members of the community being unable to see what they're all doing. (as a few dozen people start positing, the items shift quickly off front pages, and recently commented on items shift about on the recent works page, but older works don't shift up.
