Has anybody used YACS with CD-based webserver on Mac & Win?

I'm researching the possibility to use YACS with CD-based webserver for producing CDs for Windows and Mac OS X - with this one: http://www.stunnix.com/prod/aws/overviews.shtml Has anybody tried doing this? Will YACS work with readonly database for website that can't be edited?
