How to activate page rating?
In YACS page rating has to be activated explicitly, and this is done at the section level.
There are at least two different ways to make a section support page rating:
- ask the Content Assistant to create a new section featuring original work
- or edit an existing section and add the keyword ‘with_page_rating’ to the Options field.
You can trigger the Content Assistant from the Control Panel, or from the main help page, at least.
To edit a section visit the Site Map and click on section link. Once the section index page is displayed click on the ‘Edit’ link below page title.
Both operations may be triggered and achieved only by authenticated associates.
When page rating is activated at some section, every page posted to this section offers a link to rate it. Also, the current rating (from 1 -- very negative opinion to 5 -- high-value page) is reported graphically, using skinnable images.
To disable page rating edit the section and remove the keyword ‘
