Support of PHP5 and of MySQL5 are coming
Thanks to the installation of XAMPP, YACS is currently being adapted to new versions of PHP and MySQL.
Actually, very few modifications were necessary to switch to XAMPP. We have identified and fixed only two bugs so far:
- installation of a new YACS server was killed (blank page) because of the call of an obsoleted function in control/index.php
- site maps were polluted with extra characters
Note that both issues have been reported by the YACS community during last weeks. And both will be solved with next release, due end of March.
To make a long story short: We are on our way to make YACS release 6.3 fully supportive of PHP5 and MySQL5.
